Winter Summit Recap
Every quarter Junto Health seeks to bring together our members for a chance to host in-person collaborations and brainstorming sessions. For us, this is an ideal way of bringing our cluster method from the digital space and into the real life realm in order to kickstart new groups and provide networking opportunities.
On March 1st, 2017 leaders and innovators in the tech and healthcare joined together to discuss problems in the field and how their organizations were addressing them.
Junto Members broke out in the morning into a variety of different roundtables and intimate discussion groups. Topics of importance at this summit were the uncertainty of the healthcare field under the new administration and strategic venture funding. Always operating under a closed-door policy, members were able to candidly address problems that they were facing and receive feedback from others in the room.
We were pleased to have leaders from Mount Sinai, Biovotion, mySugr, RubiconMD, and Mediktor helping direct the sessions as our members worked together on collaborative solutions to funding issues and addressing policy uncertainty when planning for this up-coming year.
During this summit we were excited to help members focus on and evaluate some of the most exciting innovations that we have seen occurring in the digital health. From wearable devices that are of medical grade quality to online monitoring platforms, open discussions were happening in all of our sessions focused around how members could potentially see these products being utilized in their companies.
One of the most exciting parts about summits is always hearing new potential partnerships and collaborations being discussed!
